Graduate Youth Club/Alumni
If you are like us, you love inspiring stories. SCAI has supported almost 1600 children at school and college, with over 400 graduating from school so far. Many have gone on to study bachelor’s or master’s degrees, gain employment or both. The children come from very challenging backgrounds including several losing one or both parents but show that anything is possible with a positive attitude and equal opportunity. These youth have also undertaken various volunteer roles and activities within their local communities and now hope to ‘give back’ to the next generation through Sunrise Youth Club/Alumni. With their permission, we would like to share a few of the children’s stories here. See “Where Are They Now” to see what many more of our graduates are doing now!

Thousands of children in Nepal continue to be separated from their families due to trafficking or being enticed away with the promise of a better life and education. Thousands still live in orphanages despite having families, work as child labourer’s or enter into early marriage.
Help us prevent separation and exploitation of vulnerable children and reunite separated children with their families.
