Our Staff Team

Our awesome team in Nepal works tirelessly to plan, implement, monitor and evaluate our programs with efficiency, effectiveness and impact. In addition to our SCAI team of four, which includes President/CEO Emma Taylor, we have around fifteen staff from our local NGO teams that work across all of SCAI’s projects.

Raj completed a Master’s degree in Political science and Sociology from Tribhuvan University in Nepal and worked for ten years in the INGO sector, mainly in the field of protection of women, children and other vulnerable groups before joining SCAI Australia. Raj has been an invaluable member of the SCAI Australia team since July 2016, combining his theoretical knowledge, practical experience and tremendous dedication to the development of SCAI and our projects in Nepal. Raj manages the projects and team on a daily basis in close coordination with different governmental body in Nepal as required.

Mansingh is one of our Sunrise graduates, who completed year 12 in the Science stream in 2015, achieving Distinctions most of the way through. He then joined SCAI Nepal as Program Coordinator in June 2015. After working for a year, he won a scholarship to study a Bachelor in Public Health after topping the entrance exams at Nepal Institute of Health Sciences (NIHS/Stupa College), Kathmandu, and has been working part time since. Besides work and study, Mansingh is also involved in different youth led campaigns and organizations, including Youth Advocacy Nepal, Rotaract Club and Public Health Student’s Circle at uni. Having come from a challenging background similar to many of the children we support, Mansingh is able to provide valuable support to our SCAI and NGO teams across a range of areas and inspire the children we support to work hard to reach their dreams as he is now doing.
