Sponsor an Education Scholarship Program​

Join our awesome team of program sponsors who are helping keep children with their families, and free from poverty, abuse and neglect.

As a sponsor of our Education Scholarship and Income Generation programs you will help prevent trafficking and unnecessary separation through:

  • Providing education support to help keep children in school
  • Providing their families with small business and skill development training so they can create sustainable livelihoods to care for their children themselves
  • Helping strengthen families to provide nurturing environments for their children
  • Providing awareness raising activities, training and other support that contributes to their overall development and prepares them for the future
  • Helping create support networks amongst their peers and local communities

For $46 per month you can:

  • Educate a child for one year, including all fees, uniforms and materials
  • Provide support for the child’s basic needs, including hygiene kits, clothing, medical care
  • Provide support for family members such as basic household goods, rent and food assistance, emergency medical treatment
  • Provide small business training to improve their current business or help them expand into other areas appropriate to them to help diversify, to help them develop a more stable income flow and minimise risk of natural or other disasters. This could be animal husbandry, crop farming or tailoring
  • Skill development training and financial support to enhance their small business
  • Regular monitoring and guidance from our team
  • Overall project management

The actual cost per child in any program varies depending on their class level, age, size, school/college, course, geographic location and what level of support they need. For the programs that offer child sponsorships, funds are pooled together and used to cover all expenses, to ensure children don’t miss out due to a lack of sufficient individual sponsors.

SCAI is currently seeking sponsorship for 50 children. Sponsor 10, 20 or more children today and help them transform their lives today.

As a sponsor you will receive a quarterly newsletter dedicated to your scholarship program and ad-hoc updates such as exam results.
