Cycling the length of the Rocky Mountains on a tandem bike, 1st August 2019

On the 1st August, the legendary Sam and his friend Andy will be embarking on the challenging ‘The Tour Divide’, an annual mountain bike challenge traversing the length of the Rocky Mountains. Just to make this extreme race a little bit more interesting they will be on a tandem bike!

They will be doing an Individual Time Trial (ITT) from the Mexican border to Canada following the 2,745-mile (4,418 km) Great Divide Mountain Bike Route from Antelope Wells in New Mexico to Banff in Canada. They are aiming to complete the race within 25 days.

Shashank Agrawal, Nepal

Running the Everest Marathon on May 29th, 2019

A few months ago, Shashank, who is Team Leader at Komodo Fashion in Nepal, a UK organic and ethical clothing company, set himself the challenge of attempting one of the hardest marathons on the planet, the Everest Marathon. Through this challenge Shashank not only wants to challenge himself physically and mentally, raise funds but to also inspire more people to be active and believe in themselves.

Amanda Gessler, USA

Classical music concert, June 23rd, 2019

On Sunday, June 23rd, classical musicians of Aspen, Colorado will be combining talents to present a benefit concert for Sunrise Children’s Association. Nestled high up in the Rocky Mountains, the beautiful Christ Episcopal Church of Aspen will host the local artists. Concert-goers can expect solo and chamber works of Beethoven, Mozart, Chopin, Bach, and are invited to a light reception afterward. Performing are Amanda Gessler & Kevin Kaukl, piano, Sarah Graf, cello, Erin Gallagher, viola and Matthew Fitzsimmons, trumpet. All donations support Sunrise Children’s Association, Inc, Australia and their work in Nepal.

Special thanks to Amanda and the amazing line up of musicians who will be sharing their beautiful music, those that helped organise this special event and guests attending. We wish you a wonderful evening.
